Why us

Why CloudSecretary

CloudSecretary differs from most US answering services in five ways: a person answers every call with no AI tier, English and Spanish are handled by the same receptionist on the same number, billing is per answered call rather than per minute, every in-call action is included, and coverage is genuinely the same team around the clock.

5 reasons

What you get that the big names don’t give you

A person answers. There is no other tier.

Most of this market now sells AI-first, hybrid and human as separate products at separate prices, which means "who answers my phone" has become a budget decision.

We don’t sell the choice. Every call, every hour, is a person. Software writes the summary afterwards and keeps the log searchable; it never speaks to your caller.

The objection this answers: "Will my customer get a bot when I’m not looking?" Where AI genuinely does better.

Both languages, same person, same call

Not a menu. Not a transfer. Not a Spanish desk that’s staffed during business hours. The receptionist who answers in English continues in Spanish the moment the caller does, at 2 a.m. as at 2 p.m., at no extra cost.

The objection this answers: "What actually happens to my Spanish-speaking callers on a Sunday night?" How it works.

You're billed per answered call, not per minute

One answered call = one billable call, whatever we do on it. A caller who takes six minutes costs the same as one who takes ninety seconds, which means a good conversation isn’t a line item and your bill doesn’t depend on how talkative your customers are.

The objection this answers: "Why was my invoice higher than last month when I didn’t do anything differently?" The arithmetic.

Everything inside the call is included

Booking an appointment, transferring a caller, screening, escalating through an on-call rotation — all part of the one call. No per-action fees, no bilingual surcharge, no night rate, no holiday rate, no setup fee.

The objection this answers: "What’s the price after the add-ons?"

The overnight shift is the same service

The most common weak point in this industry is the 11 p.m. call: a smaller team, a generic template, sometimes a different company entirely. Our night shift works from the same script, the same urgency rules and the same two languages as the day one.

The objection this answers: "Is your 24/7 the same 24/7 you demoed?"

And the catch

We’re a new brand in the US market. We don’t have a decade of public reviews, a long integration list, or a logo your bank will recognize.

If what you need is the established name, or a named integration wired directly into your reception, there are providers who have that and we don’t. We say the same thing on the Ruby comparison, including where they win.

What we’d rather you judge us on: listen to a call, and run the first month free — 12-month agreement, card on file at signup, overage billed from month one, no setup fee.

AI receptionist vs a person: the honest comparison

Hear it for yourself

This is what your callers will hear

Two real calls, unedited. No competitor in this market lets you listen before you sign.

English
Español

Studio recreations of the real scripts, because we never record a customer call. That is the greeting, the questions and the handover you would get on day one. Read both calls word for word.

Questions people ask

What makes CloudSecretary different from other answering services?

A person answers every call with no AI option, English and Spanish are handled by the same receptionist on the same number, billing is per answered call rather than per minute, all in-call actions are included, and the overnight shift runs the same script as the daytime one.

Are you a US company?

CloudSecretary serves US businesses with US phone numbers. Where our receptionists are based is a fair question to ask any provider, including us — ask it on the intake call and you'll get a straight answer. The operating company is Spanish, has answered calls since 2007, and a US entity is planned as the market grows.

Why should I choose a newer provider?

Price per call, bilingual reception as standard, and no AI tier — plus a free first month to test it on your real calls. If you need an established name or a specific integration, an older provider may fit better, and we'll say so.

Can I try it before committing?

Yes. Your first month free on every plan except Flex, with 12-month agreement, card on file at signup, overage billed from month one, no setup fee stated up front rather than in a footnote.

Everything above is checkable. Two of them you can check in four minutes.
